The Seattle Seahawks pulled off a win by re-signing starting cornerback Josh Jobe to a reasonable three-year deal. Here is how much it costs.
Cornerback Josh Jobe could have become an unrestricted free agent on Wednesday afternoon. Instead, the former Alabama defensive back agreed to a contract extension to stay with the Seattle Seahawks after helping the team win Super Bowl LX in February.
“Sources: The Bears and standout S Coby Bryant have agreed to a 3 year $40M, per sources,” NFL insider Jordan Schultz noted in a March 9, 2026, message on X. “Bryant has 7 INTs over the last two years and has started 34 games during his time with Seattle — amassing 7 forced fumbles and 17 passes defensed.”
The Seattle Seahawks could lose some starters on defense, but they may have a replacement.
Even though Riq Woolen didn't pan out in Seattle, his projected free agency departure could leave the Seahawks extremely thin at cornerback.
