Nintendo finally, formally took the wraps off the Nintendo Switch 2, giving us our first official look at the new Joy-Con controllers, a new Mario Kart game, and more. But the company also gave us a glimpse at how the size compares to the older Switch system.

Compared to the original Switch, the Switch 2 Joycons are much bigger in size, with one boasting orange highlights while the other has blue. When separated from the console, the raised edge features additional buttons for even more accessibility and control over the action.

Switch 2 features a port for game cartridges, two USB-C ports, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack, based on the system’s reveal and early leaks. A slot for expanded microSD storage appears to be tucked away underneath the Switch 2’s kickstand, similar to the original Switch.
