Inter Milan came from a goal down to salvage a 1-1 derby draw against AC Milan with Stefan de Vrij snatching an added-time equaliser at the San Siro on Sunday, as they missed the chance to go provisionally top of the Serie A standings.

Stefan de Vrij scored a last-gasp goal to secure what could prove to be a precious point for Inter Milan in the title race as he helped his team avoid a third straight derby defeat to AC Milan with a 1-1 draw.

It was a disappointment for AC Milan, who have now won just one of their last 10 home matches against Inter in all competitions (D4 L5), keeping only two clean sheets in the process
