The crash deals a fresh blow to the beleaguered U.S. plane maker, which has been mired by safety and production issues in recent years.

All but one of those on board an Air India flight bound for London Gatwick Airport that crashed shortly after take-off in western India on Thursday have died, the airline has confirmed.

The lone survivor was a passenger, Vishwashkumar Ramesh, a British national of Indian origin.
