NBA season gears up for takeoff, rumors suggesting that LeBron James could leave the Los Angeles Lakers also seem to be heating up. The four-time NBA champion has been with the Lakers since 2018, after he jumped ship to join Rob Pelinka’s camp from the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Last week, the Los Angeles Clippers were named a potential landing spot for LeBron James. It came as a surprise as James hadn't actually requested a trade and the Clippers hadn't shown any interest in the 21-time All-Star.

The Cleveland Cavaliers and LeBron James will always be tied to one another. He’s the greatest player in franchise history, and it’s virtually impossible for someone to take that distinction away from him.
