Land in the Everglades once designated to be a jetport, is now being turned into a detention center for migrants and being called Alligator Alcatraz.

The U.S. arm of Montreal-based security giant GardaWorld — which holds a federal contract to secure the controversial migrant detention site dubbed “Alligator Alcatraz” — is hiring armed guards for a facility in the same Florida community.
