NVIDIA's upcoming GeForce RTX 3090 Ti Founders Edition will have a PCIe Gen5 16-pin power connector, replacing the 12-pin Molex MicroFit 3.0 plug that was on the RTX 30 series Founders Edition GPUs.

The new GeForce RTX 3090 Ti might have the same 24GB of GDDR6X memory, but they're Micron's latest 2Gbit modules which means there's no double-sided GDDR6X here, thus no need for active backplates.
