INDIANAPOLIS — Caitlin Clark had 20 points, six assists and four 3-pointers and the Indiana Fever beat the Connecticut Sun, 88-71, on Tuesday night in a physical game that included three late ejections.

With Caitlin Clark back from injury, the new-look Indiana Fever host the Connecticut Sun in Game 1 of NBA TV’s WNBA doubleheader.

Later in the fourth quarter, Sheldon was driving to the paint, and Sophie Cunningham tossed her to the floor without making a real play on the basket. Cunningham was then assessed a flagrant-2 foul and was ejected. After the game, Fever head coach Stephanie White spoke about the Clark altercation.
