Jay Leno will make a cameo as himself in episode 109 of Shifting Gears, Allen’s new comedy in which he plays a stubborn, widowed owner of a classic car restoration shop. Leno brings his car into Allen’s shop, Parker Customs, for repair. No word on whether car came from Leno’s actual fleet. The episode will air March 12.

Natural, because Shifting Gears is the story of Allen’s character Matt, the stubborn, widowed owner of a classic car restoration shop. So, on the ninth episode of the comedy, airing March 12, Leno plays himself, and he brings his car into Parker Customs for repair.

Tim Allen is in his happy place. He's leaving the Disney lot in Burbank, California, after another day of shooting his new hit ABC sitcom, "Shifting Gears" (Wednesdays, 8 EST/PST and streaming the next day on Hulu), and hopping into his 1,000-horse power Tesla Plaid.
