Joseph Allen Santucci, 20, was driving above the posted speed limit when he struck a curb, SFPD spokesperson Sam Clemens said.

Authorities said it’s possible the driver suffered a medical event before leaving the roadway and striking a piece of machinery in a nearby parking lot.
