South Minneapolis shooting leaves man dead, third homicide in 2 days
Police confirmed a shooting in south Minneapolis is fatal. The shooting happened in the 3000 block of Grand Avenue just after 1 p.m., and no arrests have been made. MINNEAPOLIS (FOX 9) - Minneapolis police say they are investigating a shooting that left one man dead.
Marshall was shot and killed in the early morning hours of his birthday, Friday, on Franklin and Lyndale Avenue near Mortimer's Bar. Minneapolis Police officers say they believe he was talking with a man inside a vehicle. The driver got out and shot him, then drove away. He died at the hospital.
