Roche said on Tuesday it would invest $50 billion in the United States over the next five years, creating more than 12,000 new jobs, in the latest massive investment by companies reacting to President Donald Trump's tariff policy.

With threats of tariffs hanging over the pharmaceutical industry, Switzerland’s Roche announced on Tuesday that it will invest $50 billion in the United States over the next five years, expanding its existing facilities and building new manufacturing plants and research centers.

Roche plans new, expanded R&D and manufacturing sites in 24 sites across eight U.S. states; additional expansion project to come.
