On a per-share basis, the Singapore-based company said it had net income of $1.55. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs and stock option expense, came to $2.03 per share.

The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $2.35 per share. The airport security and full-body scanner manufacturer posted revenue of $419.8 million in the period,
