The Buckeyes looked like they didn’t want to be there against Wisconsin through the first half of a Big Ten road contest in Madison. There was a lack of effort, poor shooting, and a sense of tentativeness that led to a halftime deficit of 37-20.

The Badgers lost almost all of a 17-point halftime lead, but hit on 25 of 28 free throw attempts and posted 70-68 win over the Buckeyes.

No. 24 Wisconsin staved off a late rally by Ohio State, extending its winning streak to six with a 70-68 victory Tuesday night.

With just under 12 minutes remaining in the second half of the Badgers’ home contest vs. Ohio State, Tonje delivered arguably the play of the year. Tonje drove baseline on Ohio State freshman Colin White after receiving a pass from forward Xavier Amos on the right wing.

After a few days off to regroup, Ohio State (10-6, 2-3 B1G) heads to Madison tonight to face No. 24 Wisconsin (13-3, 3-2 B1G) in a key conference matchup that marks the Buckeyes’ second game in a row against a top-25 team and kicks off a tough three-game stretch.
