Multiple OMV locations in Louisiana offering Saturday openings for people to get REAL ID
Beginning on May 7, 2025, your driver’s license or state issued identification card must be REAL ID-compliant to board domestic flights and access certain federal facilities, or you’ll need another acceptable form of identification.
Certain Louisiana OMV offices to open on Saturdays to issue REAL ID
SHREVEPORT, La. ( KTAL/KMSS) – The Louisiana Office of Motor Vehicles will open select field offices across the state to assist with REAL ID compliance. Residents are encouraged to book appointments for one of three available Saturdays when representatives will be in the office to assist as the compliance deadline approaches.
