San Antonio center Victor Wembanyama left Wednesday night’s rematch with the New York Knicks in the fourth quarter after suffering an apparent left leg injury.
That said, their opponent, the San Antonio Spurs will be eager to get revenge coming off of their last defeat against New York in the NBA Cup Final. Although both teams are battling injuries in some regard, between the two sides, the Knicks seem to have the worst of it.
The Spurs had the inside track on the top spot after beating the Thunder three times in two weeks, but a pair of losses to Utah and Cleveland halted their momentum and the loss to the Knicks in the NBA Cup final, even though it didn't technically count, broke the tie.
