Rangers manager Bruce Bochy said Sunday morning that the club doesn’t “have any real plan right now” at the designated hitter position.

The Texas Rangers have placed Joc Pederson on the 10-day injured list after their designated hitter broke his right hand when he was hit by a pitch.

The Texas Rangers called up top outfield prospect Alejandro Osuna from Triple-A Round Rock to make his major league debut on Sunday afternoon against the host Chicago White Sox. Also Sunday, the Rangers placed designated hitter/first baseman Joc Pederson on the 10-day injured list and designated outfielder Kevin Pillar for assignment.
