After weeks of speculation, Bayern Munich board member for sport Max Eberl was thrilled to have former Liverpool FC winger Luis Díaz in tow.

Bayern Munich have confirmed the signing of Colombia international Luis Díaz from Liverpool. Sources told ESPN the deal is worth €75 million ($88m), inclusive of add-ons. He becomes Bayern's third signing of the summer following the arrivals of Bayer Leverkusen's Jonathan Tah and Hoffenheim midfielder Tom Bischof.

The winger has been praised by several Bayern Munich chiefs after completing his move, and the deal could help to bring Alexander Isak to Anfield.
