Light snow lingers through the morning commute before winding down by the afternoon. It won't be a lot, but it will be enough to make roads slick in spots.

Light snow is expected this morning through midday. It should be light with snow totals around a half inch or less, which is more than enough to ice up the roads.

For one day this winter, just let love conquer all and put off worrying about snow coming to Michigan until the weekend.

After a cool and sunny start to the day, snow will slide into the metro by Thursday evening, leaving behind a few inches by Friday morning in the Denver weather forecast.

Light snow showers continue Sunday night with less than 1/2" of new snow expected. Temperatures will drop into the low teens, with wind chills near 0° by Monday morning. Winds will be gusty at times and out of the west-northwest 15-20 mph.

It will be a little warmer Thursday, with high temperatures in the upper 20s to low 30s by the afternoon. The Denver metro area will get more snow Thursday night.
