The New York Mets could be aggressive at this year's MLB trade deadline, and Cleveland Guardians outfielder Steven Kwan is be a target.

Steven Kwan hit a two-run home run, Tanner Bibee struck out eight in five innings and the Cleveland Guardians beat the Kansas City Royals 6-4 on Saturday night to earn a doubleheader split. Kansas City won the first game 5-3 with a walk-off homer by Jonathan India in the 10th inning.

The Cleveland Guardians may find themselves in the middle of a surprising trade buzz just days before the deadline. Surprisingly, the name surfacing is outfielder Steven Kwan. According to MLB insider Jon Heyman,

MLB.com’s Mark Feinsand recently chose his top trade asset for each team, and named Cleveland’s best piece as Steven Kwan. “Kwan is under club control for two more years, so while the Guardians don’t have to move him, he may be their best asset to bring back a solid package of young talent,” wrote Feinsand.

Steven Kwan belted two home runs, but Gunnar Henderson's RBI single in the seventh helped the O's salvage a win in the series.

Kwan went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run, a walk and a second run scored in a 6-4 win over the Royals in the second game of Saturday's doubleheader.
