A soccer fan who fell from the upper tier of King Baudouin Stadium during a World Cup qualifier between Belgium and Wales was taken to the hospital for checks on his injuries.

A Wales football fan was hurt after falling from the stands during Monday night's World Cup qualifier in Belgium. Scott Rees, 29, fell from the upper tier into the lower tier at the King Baudouin Stadium in Brussels and was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital.

Wales suffered a dramatic 4-3 World Cup qualifying defeat to Belgium as their incredible comeback from three goals down eventually proved in vain. Kevin De Bruyne was the Belgium match-winner two minutes from time to deny Wales a precious point in Brussels.
