Alabama basketball entered Tuesday’s matchup with Ole Miss flying high off a road SEC win at Texas A&M. When the night at Coleman Coliseum ended, the Crimson Tide had lost 74-64, and what is allegedly one of the top teams in college basketball had some serious questions.

Looking tired from a physical two-game road trip that featured wins at South Carolina and former No. 9 Texas A&M, the top offense in the nation couldn't stand the fight from the Rebels, who were led by 23 points and 19 rebounds for forward Malik Dia.

Alabama coach Nate Oats chalked up the night's offensive struggles to turnovers (of which his team had 21) and poor rebounding, the latter issue being fairly uncharacteristic of this season's team, certainly nowhere anywhere in the neighborhood of the kind of problems turning the basketball over has caused.
