Google's newly released AI Mode experiment for Google Search is now available to all US users; it's like having ChatGPT in Search.

The feedback on AI Mode has been positive, with users reporting it to be helpful, according to Google. As a result, the company is expanding access through a limited test outside of Labs. A small percentage of US Google Search users will see the AI Mode tab on the Search page. Google says it will continue to use user feedback to enhance the model.

The new mode is the latest step in the trend of tech companies integrating AI tools into more of our daily processes.

Sundar Pichai testified in the remedies trial that will determine which penalties Google will face for monopolizing the search engine market, calling the DOJ's proposals a "de facto divestiture" of the company's tech.
