The New York Knicks are not actively seeking a trade for Phoenix Suns superstar Kevin Durant, according to the New York Post, this coming after ESPN reported Wednesday the franchise was one of five teams in the sweepstakes for 15-time All-Star and two-time NBA champion.

Teams ideally want to have any deals lined up before the NBA draft in a few weeks, which has the NBA trade rumor mill speeding up daily. Of course the Knicks are interested in trading for Giannis Antetokounmpo.

The Suns are approaching a full-on rebuild. They tried the super team angle, and it didn't amount to anything. Phoenix is expected to lean into a full reset with a new head coach and with stars Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal likely to be on the move.
