Eric Dane talks about his recent diagnosis with neurodegenerative disease ALS. He expresses anger and sadness, but also resilience in the face of this adversity.

Dane and Gayheart got married in 2004 in Las Vegas. They share daughters Billie Beatrice, 15, and Georgia Geraldine, 13. In Feb. 2018, Gayheart filed for divorce from the “Grey’s Anatomy” alum after 14 years of marriage.

Dane first disclosed his ALS diagnosis to People magazine in April, saying he felt "grateful to have my loving family by my side as we navigate this next chapter." The actor, who is married to Rebecca Gayheart and has two daughters, ages 15 and 13, said at the time he felt "fortunate" to continue working.
